PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona G Sarah Huston had a huge week for the Lions, helping her team go 2-0 in AMCC play to keep their conference tournament hopes alive, as they moved up the rankings from seventh to fifth place over the course of the week. In Wednesday night's big win over Pitt-Greensburg, she scored a career-high 26 points while grabbing 13 rebounds to notch her third double-double of the season, and she also contributed six assists, three steals, and one block. In Saturday's win at Hilbert, the junior guard had another 20-plus point game by scoring 24 points to go along with six assists, four rebounds, and four steals. On the week, Huston averaged 25.0 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, 6.0 assists per game, 3.5 steals per game, and a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg G Sidney McCully played 78 of 80 possible minutes this week scoring an average of 23 points per game and shooting over 61 percent from the floor, as she also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists over the two games...PS-Behrend F Alanna Dibble shot 78.3 percent from the floor in two AMCC wins for the Lions, as she also averaged 20.0 points and 5.5 rebounds to keep the Lions on top of the conference standings, she registered 17 points vs. Alfred State and tied a season high with 23 points on 10-for-11 shooting against Hilbert...Medaille PG Erin Hardick averaged 18.5 points per game, including 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals against Pitt-Bradford, and 16 points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal against Pitt-Greensburg...Hilbert G Ashley Schroeder paced the Hawks with a double double against PS-Altoona, as she tossed in 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds on Saturday...Pitt-Bradford G Alexa Ackerman led the Panthers to their first AMCC win of the season as they defeated Medaille 63-59, scoring 16 points in the game on 60% from the field, including making 4-of-7 from three, while also leading the team with six assists...La Roche G/F Makayla Abram assisted her team in continuing their nine game win streak last week, as she recorded 25 points overall, averaging 16.7 points per game over two games, while also adding 14 rebounds and shooting 63.2 percent from the field.
