PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville G Danielle Hore continued her standout rookie season with the Spartans this past week, helping the women to a 2-0 week in conference play. On Wednesday against Penn State-Behrend, Hore posted a then career-high 24 points on 8-12 shooting and 7-7 from the free throw line in the 80-65 victory. She added eight steals, seven rebounds, and five assists in the win. To follow up on Saturday at Mount Aloysius, Hore topped her career-high in scoring with 26 points in the 70-66 overtime win against the Mounties. Playing all 45 minutes, Danielle tied a career-high 17 boards with two assists and two steals. For the week, Hore averaged 25.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 5.0 steals, and 3.5 assists per game. She is currently fourth in the conference in scoring (16.5 PPG), second in rebounding (12.0 RPG), third in assists (5.7 APG), and first in steals (3.1 SPG). In 13 games played, Hore has scored double-figures in every game of her career. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg F Nadege Durand posted a double-double in both of Pitt-Greensburg's games this past week against Penn State Altoona and Medaille, as she averaged 20 points and 14.5 rebounds in the matchups against Altoona and Medaille, including 23 points and 15 rebounds against Altoona and followed that performance with 17 points and 14 boards against the Mavericks...Medaille F Morgan Kennedy averaged 19.0 points and 16.5 rebonds per game in a strong week for the Mavs....Hilbert G Emily Gawlak fought through the adversity of an ankle injury this week and helped the Hawks to a 1-1 record while averaging 23.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, as she led the charge for the Hawks' come back win against Pitt-Bradford...Mount Aloysius G Breana Kendrick led the Mounties with 24 points in a tough overtime loss against D'Youville while playing 41 of the 45 minutes of action...PS-Altoona G Kaley Strittmatter had a great week for the Lady Lions, helping her team go 2-0 in AMCC play, as she averaged 19.0 points per game while shooting 53.3% from the field, while also averaging 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game...La Roche G Nia Thomas averaged 18 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in two conference wins last week...Pitt-Bradford G Shaelyn Snipes poured in a career-high 26 points in an overtime loss at Hilbert Wednesday, as she knocked down all six of the team's three-pointers and made 10 total field goals, and then followed that up by dropping 13 points Saturday at La Roche for an average of 19.5 points per game...Franciscan F Angela Starre led the Lady Barons to a 1-1 week, including their first win of the season, with 15 points against Penn St.-Behrend as she shot 41.2% from the floor and collected 18 rebounds, narrowly missing a double-double for the week, while also adding four assists and three steals for the week...PS-Behrend F Alanna Dibble averaged 14.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in a pair of AMCC games this week, as she recorded a double-double against D'Youville with 20 points and 11 rebounds and shot 50 percent from the field.
