D'YOUVILLE'S HORE RECORDS RECORD-SETTING TRIPLE-DOUBLE

D'Youville College sophomore guard Danielle Hore had a record-setting game on Wednesday, January 15 with her first career triple-double.

Hore tallied 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for the first points/rebounds/assists triple-double in program history. Prior to Hore’s historic performance in the 73-59 over Pitt.-Bradford, only one triple-double has been recorded in the history of the women’s program in 2005-06 of points/rebounds/blocks.

Hore is the team’s top scorer, rebounder, and playmaker with 11.9 points per game, 6.9 rebounds per game, and 4.8 assists per game. In addition, Hore leads the team with 1.8 steals per game as she is one of the best on the ball-defenders on the team.

As a freshman last season, Hore flirted with a triple-double three times while tallying eight double-doubles. Hore started all 25 games as a freshman and led the team in points (14.7), rebounds (9.7), and assists (5.6) and scored double-figures in 23 games. In just her fourth collegiate game, Hore came close to recording a quadruple-double in with 15 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists, and seven steals.

By season’s end, Hore was recognized as one of the best in the conference as she was an AMCC second team all-conference player. She was also acknowledged as the AMCC’s best freshman as she was named AMCC Newcomer of the Year.
