MEDAILLE'S REINWALD EARNS ALL-ECAC HONORS

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced their women's basketball postseason awards on Thursday morning and Medaille College senior Dani Reinwald continues to rack up postseason honors by being named to the All-ECAC First Team.

Dani scored 494 points this year, averaging 19 a game for a new career high. She also grabbed an incredible 16.1 rebounds a game, grabbing a total of 419.

She finished first in the AMCC in offensive rebounds (162), defensive rebounds (257), total rebounds, rebounds per game, and total blocks (65); she was second in steals (101); and third in points, points per game, and total field goals made (165). She had 23 double-doubles as a senior, including her first career triple double on January 17 when she collected 16 points, 23 rebounds, and 11 steals against D'Youville.

She was named the AMCC Player of the Week four different times, and became the first Medaille athlete in any sport to be named a National Player of the Week when she was selected as the USBWA DIII Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week on November 28.

Just last week Reinwald became the first Women's Basketball player in program history to be named both the AMCC Defensive Player of the Year and AMCC Player of the Year, while also being named to the AMCC All-Conference First Team.
