The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats (8-8) and the Mount Aloysius Mounties (7-9) are featured in this week's AMCC Game of the Week. The Bobcats are currently sitting in fourth place and the Monties in sixth. With only one game separting the two teams in the conference standings, Wednesday's game is crucial when it comes to the final playoff seedings.  Wednesday marks the second meeting between Pitt-Greensburg and Mount Aloysius this season, with the Bobcats earning a 65-58 victory in their own Chambers Hall on January 18.

Pitt-Greensburg enters Wednesday with an even 8-8 conference mark, currently residing at #4 in a crowded AMCC playoff race.  The Bobcats posted a 2-2 February record, opening the month with consecutive home wins and following with back-to-back road losses.  The Bobcats are in search of a playoff clinching victory and look to avoid a potential tie-break situation with two regular season games remaining.  Pitt-Greensburg will look to a trio of double-digit scorers to aid in their playoff pursuit, led by senior guard Emily Nelson and sophomore guard Kelsey Oddis's 12 point per game averages.  While sophomore forward Sylvia Stuart rounds out the leading scorers with 11.5 points per game, UPG will also count on the experience of seniors guard/forward Chianti Sivek and guard Amanda Estok

The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team enters Wednesday night's contest against Pitt-Greensburg looking to get back on the winning track in the midst of a three-game losing skid. The Mounties currently sit at 10-13 overall and 7-9 in conference play, one game ahead of Hilbert and Franciscan for the sixth and final playoff spot and one game behind Pitt-Greensburg for the fourth seed with two games remaining. Defensively, the Mounties allow under 60 points per game and are third in conference in limiting opponents to a 34.9 shooting percentage from the field. Junior center Abbie Zinobile roams the paint ranking fifth in the conference with 43 blocked shots this season. Offensively, sophomore guard Alexia Servello (9.8 points per game) has led the scoring charge of late with four double-digit scoring games in her last five contests. Sophomore guard Abby Kulick (9.6 points per game) leads the AMCC with a 36.8 three-point field goal percentage and is tied for the team lead in rebounds with Zinobile at 6.4 rebounds per game. Freshman forward Breana Kendrick (8.5 points per game) and junior guard Antwayne' Parks (7.7 points per game) are also threats on the offensive end for the Mounties.
