LA ROCHE CROWNED WITH SIXTH STRAIGHT AMCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TITLE

After an 82-59 victory over Pitt-Bradford, La Roche College claimed their sixth consecutive AMCC women's basketball championship. The Redhawks will represent the AMCC in the NCAA national tournament with the conference's automatic bid, as they will find out their draw on Monday.

The Redhawks, led by junior guard Sabrina McLin's 15 first-half points, battled hard to take a 39-28 lead into the locker room at halftime. La Roche continued to build on their lead in the second half to take home the 23-point victory. La Roche was led by juniors, forward TiChina Mitchell and guard Sabrina McLin, who both finished the day with double-doubles. Mitchell collected 29 points and 14 rebounds, while McLin had 27 and 10, respectively. 

Pitt-Bradford was led by sophomore guard Ali Rinfrette's 17 points.
