MEDAILLE'S POLLAK NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR, HEADLINES ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Medaille College senior guard Joelle Pollak is the AMCC Women's Basketball Player of the Year, leading a standout roster of all-conference selections.  Pollak, a three-time first team all-conference selection, averaged 16.3 ppg,3.9 rpg and 2.8 apg.

Defensive Player of the Year honors go to La Roche College sophomore forward Danasha Harris.  Harris led the league with 3.9 spg and was ranked sixth with 8.2 rpg.  Newcomer of the Year recognition is shared by Medaille forward Dani Reinwald and Franciscan University guard Iliana Gonzales.  Reinwald averaged 9.8 ppg and 11.0 rpg, while Gonzales led the Barons in scoring with 15.1 ppg while also contributing 5.2 rpg and 1.9 spg.

Pete Lonergan earned Coach of the Year accolades.  He led the Mavericks to their sixth regular season title (shared with conference champion La Roche), posting a 16-2 record against AMCC opponents and a 19-7 record overall.
