PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Medaille FR Alexis Alguire had a fantastic week on the mound in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C. In all four starts, she was credited with the win, as she went 4-0 in the circle. She allowed a total of 16 hits and five earned runs while adding six strikeouts. She averaged 1.91 strikeouts per seven innings. She also earned a 1.59 ERA on the week. In her only complete game of the week against NCAA Division II school Mansfield University, she pitched all nine innings only allowing four hits and one earned run. Her only strikeout was at a key moment in the eighth inning with the Mansfield winning run on third. 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State SR Brittany Fisher threw five complete games and picked up two wins, as she threw 27.0 innings, giving up 44 hits adn 24 earned runs, while striking out 17 and walking only two batters for a 6.22 ERA on the week...Mount Aloysius FR Traci Hauser made her collegiate debut for the Mounties in Myrtle Beach, as she went 1-1 on the week, pitching to a 3.00 ERA and striking out batters at a 9.43 K/7 rate with her best single game performance coming against Keene State, where she allowed just three hits and one run, over 5.0 innings while striking out six batters and picking up the win...Pitt-Greensburg FR Melanie Mienke earned her first college win against Waynesburg on Saturday, as she gave up one earned run and struck out seven...PS-Behrend SR Ashleigh Schmidt picked up her second win in the circle, allowing just four hits and one earned run for a 1.40 ERA in a 6-1 victory over Geneva on Saturday.
