PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State INF Kailey Wonica collected hits in each of the Pioneers six games this week, including collecting at least two hits in five of the games. Wonica finished the week 14-for-21 (.667 BA, 1.048 SLG%) with five doubles, a home run, six RBIs and five runss scored, while also adding a stolen base.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford 1B Hannah Lathrop hit .350 in a 6-0 week for the Panthers, including three home runs, two doubles and driving in ten runs, while also scoring five runs and adding a stolen base...PS-Behrend UTIL Cami McNany appeared in all four games for the Lions this week, tallying eight hits in 13 at-bats for a .615 batting average, she also added 12 RBIs and 22 putouts from catcher this week...La Roche 2B Devan Smith went 7-for-16 (.438) in four games at the plate, she had eight RBIs and scored five runs to help the Redhawks collect two wins, including almost hitting for the cycle in game two against Alfred State with an inside the park home-run, a triple and a double to go along with four RBI...Pitt-Greensburg 1B/OF Ashley Noel helped propel the Bobcats to a 3-3 record, as she batted .429, going 9-for-21 at the plate, with seven runs, a double, and drove in seven RBI, she recorded two or more hits in three of the six games last week and scored a run in all six games...PS-Altoona INF Katie College had a productive week at the plate for the Lions in doubleheader splits with AMCC opponents Pitt-Greensburg and Medaille, as she hit .400 (6-for-15) with five runs scored, four doubles, one RBI, one walk, and one stolen base; Her total of three doubles in game two against Medaille on Friday tied the Penn State Altoona softball program's single game record for doubles...Medaille C Abbigail Doherty put on a strong performance at the plate last week for the Mavericks, hitting .500 and collecting a hit in every game with the exception of one, she recorded six RBIs and six runs scored, while also picking up her first career home run in game two vs. Mount Aloysius...Hilbert OF Melanie Basile led the team in hitting with a .444 batting average, including four RBIs and four runs scored, while also playing solid defense in centerfield.
