PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille P Laura Kratzke was red hot both at the plate in the circle last week. Kratzke ended the week hitting .417 with three home runs, nine RBI and three runs scored. She slugged an incredible 1.167 percent earning a team-best 14 total bases On the mound, she went 4-0 with a 2.16 ERA and struck out an incredible 37 batters. She gave up just six earned runs in the four games, throwing four complete games including a complete game shutout against Pitt Bradford on Sunday. 

 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona OF Kelsey Bristol had an excellent week with the bat, helping her team go 5-3 in AMCC play as she batted .565 (13-for-23) with four RBI, four stolen bases, three runs scored, and two walks, posting a .600 on-base percentage and a .565 slugging percentage...PS-Behrend OF Carson Hauser hit .538 in an undefeated week for the Lions, tallying seven hits, including a triple in game one against Mt. Aloysius to register her 100th career hit, while also driving in five runs and scoring five...D'Youville OF Ashley Carney hit .500 through five games and helped the Spartans earn their first three conference wins, as she went 9-for-18, scored six runs and recorded three RBI while she is in the midst of a 19-game hitting streak...La Roche 2B Devan Smith hit .526 with six runs, six RBI, two stolen bases, and two doubles...Franciscan 1B Ashley Kondracki led the Lady Barons to a 1-1 week with a .571 batting average (4-for-7) against Hilbert with two home runs, three runs scored, and six RBI...Pitt-Greensburg OF Katlyn Keenan batted .476 on the week (10-for-21) with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while also posting a .522 on-base-percentage, and recording a .619 slugging percentage...Pitt-Bradford INF Maddy Hillery went 5-for-11 for a .455 batting average in four games this week, including multi-hit games in both contests on Sunday, making up two of the three total Panther hits in game two while also scoring three runs...Hilbert OF Maia Delaney hit .500 for the week (10-for-20), including several key hits, recording eight runs and two RBI, while also playing solid defensively as the Hawks went 4-1 in conference action...Mount Aloysius OF Courtney Link hit .462 (6-for-13) with two doubles, one run scored, an RBI and added a stolen base in an 0-4 week for the Mounties.
