PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Medaille SO Laura Kratzke was almost un-hittable last week, going 4-2 and keeping Medaille in the hunt for one of the AMCC top spots. In 35 innings she struck out 35 batters, and gave up just three earned runs on just 16 hits. She ended the week with a 0.77 ERA with opponents hitting just .132 against her at the plate. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Alexa Bupp set a new school record for career saves with back-to-back saves this weekend against Altoona, as she pitched seven total innings in six games, only allowing three hits and striking out 14 for a 0.00 ERA...Mount Aloysius SO Hannah Ruby earned a 2.14 ERA over 19.2 innings pitched with an overall record for the week of 3-1, as she gave up 23 hits, six earned runs, and fanned eight batters...D'Youville FR Brittaney Goodrich earned her fifth win of the season as she got the win in a 3-2 victory against conference-leading PS-Behrend, allowing just two earned runs and four hits in 7.0 innings, she earned another win over UPG when she went 5.0 innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out five in the 8-4 victory...PS-Altoona FR Emily Strouse went 2-1 in six appearances, posting an earned run average of 2.20, limiting the opposition to nine earned runs in 28 2/3 innings, while giving up 24 hits and just six walks...Franciscan FR Andi Queen went 2-1 with two complete games this week, allowing just three walks and striking out 10 while recording a 2.26 ERA in 21.2 innings...Pitt-Bradford FR Jordan Uhing kept the Panthers in the thick of the playoff contention as she went the distance and picked up the win in the circle in game one at La Roche Saturday, walking just two while giving up three runs and striking out one to improve to 5-3...Hilbert SO Marisa McIntyre went 1-0 with a complete game victory over PS-Altoona, giving up just three hits and one earned run for a 1.00 ERA.
