PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend JR AJ Nichols went 4-0 in four appearances, throwing 24 innings and giving up one earned run for a 0.29 ERA. Her four wins also included two shut-out victories and one complete game. She only surrendered nine hits and struck out 24 during the 7-1 week for the Lions. Offensively, Nichols tallied 12 hits, two doubles, seven RBIs and scored 11 runs. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert JR Rachel Allen helped the Hawks earn their first wins over Pitt-Bradford after the Panthers had beaten them 26 straight times, as she did not give up an earned run in 14 innings pitched and only allowed eight hits on the day as Hilbert earned the sweep...D'Youville FR Brittaney Goodrich earned her first career no-hitter against Alfred State as she went 5.0 innings, allowing one walk, no runs and allowed no hits in the 9-0 victory...PS-Altoona FR Emily Strouse made four appearances and posted a 2-0 record with one complete game, pitching 15 1/3 innings and limiting the opposition to five runs on 12 hits and just two walks, while also striking out four batters and posting an ERA of 2.28...Medaille SO Laura Kratzke threw 11 innings on the week, recording a 3.82 ERA, including a complete game win over La Roche where she gave up three hits and zero earned runs...Pitt-Bradford FR Jordan Uhing delivered a complete-game gem to earn a tough 2-1 victory over Penn State-Behrend Thursday, snapping a seven-game win streak for Penn State-Behrend and gave the Panthers their first conference win...La Roche SR Savannah Leonard allowed just two runs over seven innings in an 11-2 victory over Medaille...Mount Aloysius SO Hannah Ruby went 2-0 in the circle, throwing 11.0 total innings, giving up just three hits and two earned runs for a 1.27 ERA...Franciscan FR Andi Queen went 1-1 last week while only allowing two earned runs and one walk in 13.0 innings.
