PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SR Kate Burge had a dominant week in the circle to help Penn State Altoona go undefeated in four AMCC games, doubleheaders against La Roche and Hilbert. For the week, Burge posted a 4-0 record with three complete games, including back-to-back shutouts of Hilbert on Sunday. She pitched 24 innings and allowed only 14 hits, three earned runs, and four walks while recording 19 strikeouts. Her ERA on the week was 0.88. Kate also helped her own cause by going 6-for-12 (.500) at the plate in those four games with two doubles and three RBI.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg FR Jaimie Schleicher posted a perfect 3-0 record with a 1.42 ERA and 18 strikeouts this past week with wins over Pitt-Bradford and Mt. Aloysius and tied a season-high with nine strikeouts in her complete-game victory against the Mounties, while also singling home the winning run vs UPB for her first career walk-off...PS-Behrend SR Rachel Miller picked up a pair of wins in the circle in conference play this week, allowing just four earned runs while striking out seven in two appearances...D'Youville SR Hannah Turek pitched 13.1 innings and allowed just three runs, including a complete game shutout against Mount Aloysius in game one, striking out six batters in game one, walking none and allowing just four hits...Franciscan FR Jayln Effertz picked up the win in the second game of the doubleheader against Medaille, striking out 10 while allowing 11 hits and seven earned runs.
