MacKenzie Kehlenbeck, D'Youville College, Player of the Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville SS MacKenzie Kehlenbeck was the main source of offense for the Spartans over the weekend in the AMCC Playoffs. Kehlenbeck hit her fifth homerun of the season and had four RBI to lead the team. Her .375 average also led the team. In the team's win over Penn State Behrend on Saturday, the shortstop's two-run homerun in the second inning gave the team a 2-0 lead. On Sunday, the junior drove in the only runs in game one and drove in the go-ahead run in game two, until the bottom of the inning when the Lions scored the game-tying and game-winning runs.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend 1B/P Amanda Krolczyk hit .316 along with a home run in a 6-2 win against La Roche and finishing 3-for-5 in the championship game while scoring the game-winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning...Pitt-Greensburg OF Sarah Giebel led Pitt-Greensburg on the week with a .385 batting average, picking up five hits in 12 at bats while adding two runs scored and a stolen base...Mt. Aloysius 1B Alex Teeter went 5-11, hitting .455 with an RBI and a run scored...PS-Altoona OF Alamaria Miller batted .500 (6-for-12) with two doubles, two RBIs, and three runs scored while also drawing one walk.
