FEATHERS, PETTITTE NAMED TO NFCA ALL-REGION TEAM

Penn State Altoona junior UTIL Cameryn Feathers and Penn State Behrend freshman short stop Megan Petitte were each named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association’s Division III All-Region VII squad.

Feathers was named to the NFCA All-Region Second Team. She was an AMCC first-team all-conference selection this season, when she cemented herself as one of the top hitters in the conference. Feathers leads the AMCC in batting average (.490), hits (51), and on-base percentage (.546) while ranking second in slugging percentage (.769) and total bases (80), third in triples (4), fourth in runs scored (34), home runs (4), and stolen bases (10), fifth in runs batted in (29), sixth in doubles (9), and 10th in walks (12). 

Petitte was named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team. She was selected to the AMCC all-conference second team at shortstop. The freshman ranked second in RBIs and third in runs scored in 14 conference games. She ranked ninth in on-base percentage and hit .389. Overall, Petitte led the team in runs scored (31) and was second in RBIs (24) and doubles (8).
