McINTIRE, UHING, JONES EARN TOP HONORS AS SOFTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE IS RELEASED

Penn State Behrend senior 3B Mackenzie McIntire has been named the 2021 AMCC Softball Player of the Year. In 51 at-bats, she tallied 28 hits, 24 RBIs, 10 runs, eight doubles, and three home runs. She had a .549 batting average, .556 on-base percentage, and .882 slugging percentage. She contributed 45 total bases and a .857 fielding percentage. McIntire is ranked first in total bases with 45 and batting average with .549. She is second in the AMCC in hits (28), doubles (8), home runs (3), RBIs (24), and slugging percentage (.882). McIntire also has the third best on-base percentage with .556. On May 1, McIntire tallied her 47th career double to beat the Behrend record, as well as her 100th career RBI. McIntire has 10 multiple hit games this season and eight multiple RBI games.

Pitt-Bradford senior P Jordan Uhing was tabbed as the Pitcher of the Year. Uhing was 7-1 with a save this season with a 1.57 era, and 49 strikeouts in 53.1 innings pitched. She leads or is tied for the lead in the AMCC in wins, era, strikeouts, and strikeouts per 9 innings. Uhing threw two no-hitters and only allowed more than six hits once this season. She is 29th in the nation in WHIP with a .81 and had a strikeout to walk ratio of 49 to 6. 

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Penn State Behrend freshman Maria Jones. In 55 at-bats, Jones tallied 24 runs, 29 hits, six doubles, three triples, seven RBIs, and 12 stolen bases. She finished AMCC play with a .527 batting average, .557 on-base percentage, and .745 slugging percentage. Jones appeared in seven games on the mound and finished with a perfect 5-0 record. In 32.3 innings pitched, she struck out 20 batters and finished with a 3.00 ERA. She tallied four putouts and 21 assists on the season. Jones is ranked first in hits (29), second in runs (24), fourth in triples (3), third in total bases (41), third in stolen bases (12), third in batting average (.527), third in slugging percentage (.745), and second in obp (.557). On the mound, she is ranked fourth in wins (5), fifth in strikeouts per game (4.29), fifth in batting average against (.254), and sixth in ERA (3.00).

Pitt-Bradford head coach Tina Phillips has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Phillips led the Panthers to a 14-2 conference record and were named AMCC regular season co-champions.
