MOUNT ALOYSIUS TO FACE ST. MARY'S COLLEGE IN NCAA TOURNAMENT

Mount Aloysius College earned their first-ever AMCC softball conference title when they upset top-seeded Penn State Behrend in the championship game Sunday afternoon. With the conference title under their belts, the Mounties, a four-seed, will now square off against top-seeded St. Mary's College (IN) in the Notre Dame, IN regional on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

The winner of the Mount Aloysius/St. Mary's game will face the winner of the Case Western Reserve University/Ohio Northern University on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

The regional round will be held May 11-13.  Four teams will compete at 14 regional sites and three teams will compete at two regional sites.  The team advancing from each regional will compete in the super regional round May 18 and 19.  The finals, hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma and the Oklahoma City All-Sports Association, will be held May 24-29 at USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  All rounds will use a double-elimination format.
