KLEIN REPEATS AS RUNNER OF THE YEAR, AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS RELEASED

Penn State Behrend junior Kody Klein has earned his second consecutive AMCC Runner of the Year honors. Klein paced the Lions in three of the team’s five meets during the regular season, earning a first place finish at their home invitational. During the regular season, Klein secured the second, third, and sixth top times in the AMCC. At AMCC Championships, he notched back-to-back Runner of the Year honors, finishing with a time of 26:10.29 this season.

Behrend freshman Lucas Boyd has been named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Boyd was the top finisher for Behrend in two meets this year. The first-year runner was the first Lion to cross the finish line at the Dickinson and Mike Woods Invitationals. He ran the fastest conference 8k time of the regular season at Geneseo (25:58.4). He registered an AMCC Runner-Up time of 26:13.84 at the AMCC Championships.

Penn State Behrend head coach Greg Cooper has been named the Men's Coach of the Year for the 12th time in his career. Cooper led the Lions to their fourth straight, and 15th overall, AMCC title over the weekend.
