MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP SET FOR SATURDAY

AMCC cross country teams will head to Alfred, NY this weekend for the 2021 AMCC Men's Cross Country Championship.

The championship race kicks off on Saturday, October 30 at 11am on the campus of Alfred State University

Defending champion Penn State Behrend will be looking for their 13th conference title, while 2020 AMCC individual champion Gavin Bathgate of Alfred State will be out to defend his title.

Bathgate currently holds the top two times this season, running 26:47.6 at the SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on October 2 and a 26:54.5 at the Houghton Invitational on October 9.

Behrend senior Phoenix Myers holds the next three fastest times in the league this season, with his best performance coming at the Live in Lou Classic on October 2 (27:05.1).

Rounding out the top 10 times on the season are Behrend's Aiden Domencic, Chris Annear, and Nick Temel

The AMCC Championship will take place on Saturday, October 30 at Alfred State University. The men's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the women to follow at 12:15 p.m.
