AMCC TEAMS COMPETE AT NCAA MIDEAST REGIONAL

AMCC men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional hosted by Dickinson College on Saturday morning.

Finishing with a team score of 492, the Penn St. Behrend men's cross country team placed 16th out of 52 teams. Sophomore Jacob Parsons, who led Behrend to an AMCC crown, also led the AMCC at NCAA Regionals. Parsons finished in 59th place out of 371 runners with a time of 26:51.6. Lion seniors Josh Natalie and Devin Beggs were the next two finishers from the AMCC in 85th and 97th places respectively. Natalie finished in 27:16.9 and Beggs crossed the line at 27:27.7.

On the women's side, Penn St. Behrend finished highest among AMCC schools, finishing in 24th place out of 50 teams. Junior Rachel Ramsey, the AMCC Runner of the Year, led the Lions once again during their last race of the season. Ramsey has been Behrend's top finisher in every race this season and that would not change Saturday. She ran the 6K in 52nd place with a time of 23:32.4.

Hilbert junior Kylie Reinholz finished in 78th place with a time of 23:59.1.
