LIONS WIN FOURTH STRAIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

The Penn St. Behrend men's cross country team claimed their fourth consecutive, and eighth overall, AMCC championship Saturday afternoon in Erie, PA on the Behrend campus.

However, it was Penn St. Altoona freshman Bradley Foust who ran away with the competition, crossing the 8K finish line in 26:49.7 and claiming the individual title. 

Behrend placed five runners in the top 7, including runner-up sophomore Jake Parsons who finished in 27:08.3. Franciscan University freshman Joseph Gallagher rounded out the top three by completing the race in 27:20.0 and leading the Barons to a runner-up finish.

The season will continue on Saturday, November 14, at the NCAA Division III Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School in Newville, PA.
