PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius FR Bruce Perow won both his singles matches to help lead the Mounties to their first AMCC Championship. In both his singles matches, he did not allow the opposing players to score a point, blanking them 6-0 in every set. He also teamed up to win a semi-final doubles match on Saturday, an 8-2 victory over PS-Altoona.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg SR Vaughn Hunkele helped propel Pitt-Greensburg to a 5-4 win over Penn State Behrend and advance to the program's second all-time appearance in the AMCC Championship, where they faced top-seed Mt. Aloysius. In doubles, Hunkele and partner Turner Price kept their perfect record in tact with an 8-6 win in the #1 match. In singles, UPG and Behrend were tied 4-4 and it all came down to a third set tie-break at #2 singles. Colvin won the opening set 6-2 and held a 4-1 advantage in the second set, but Hunkele stormed back to win 7-5 and force a third-set tiebreak. After a back-and-forth battle from both student-athletes, Hunkele gutted out a 19-17 win in the tiebreak. Against Aloysius, Price and Hunkele won their #1 doubles match 8-6 and improved to 6-0 on the season.
