PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille FR Jacob White set the tone for the Mavericks in their first-ever NCAA men's tennis match on Saturday afternoon, winning both his number one singles and doubles matches in dominant fashion. He and partner Marcos Lerma defeated Pitt-Bradofrd's number one duo 8-4, then White took down the Panthers number one 6-2, 6-1; helping Medaille earn their first even men's tennis victory in their inaugural match.

  

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius FR Cole Kazmierczyk had a 3-1 weekend for the Mounties, as he won both singles matches at #2. He outlasted his opponent from Geneva, winning the tiebreaking set 10-5. Against Juniata, he was the only Mountie to pick up a victory in singles play, winning 6-0, 6-3. In the second doubles pairing, he was part of a pair that shut out their opponents from Geneva...PS-Behrend SO Belden Tuttle went undefeated in singles action, winning at No. 6 twice in non-conference action. The sophomore also picked up a doubles win at No. 3 against Westminster...PS-Altoona SO Jimmy Gillespie picked up his first collegiate win with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) victory over his opponent from Bethany College on Sunday in No. 1 singles.
