CHRONISTER, LAIER EARN TOP HONORS AS MTEN ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS RELEASED

Penn State Behrend junior Jonathon Laier and Penn State Altoona freshman Andrew Chronister have been named AMCC Men's Tennis Co-Players of the Year. Chronister was also tabbed as the Newcomer of the Year.

Laier had a strong season with the Behrend Lions, as he went 9-5 overall with an 8-2 record in his last 10 matches.

Chronister had an excellent freshman season with the Altoona Lions, compiling a team-best 12-1 overall record in singles play. He was 11-1 overall in No. 2 singles matches, including going 4-1 there against AMCC opponents.

Penn State Altoona head coach Megan Stern has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Stern led Altoona to a 5-1 record in the AMCC and a share of the regular season title.
