MOUNT ALOYSIUS CLAIMS FIRST MEN'S TENNIS TITLE IN PROGRAM HISTORY

Top-seeded Mount Aloysius College won 5-2 over second-seeded Pitt-Greensburg for their first AMCC men's tennis championship in program history. 

The Bobcats came out strong, taking two of three doubles match for the early 2-1 lead. Pitt-Greensburg's top doubles pair of Turner Price and Vaughn Hunkele along with the Bobcats #3 pair of Andrew Oden and Francisco Garcia each picked up wins for the blue and gold. Mount Aloysius' #2 doubles team of Cole Kazmierczyk and Adam Snyder got the lone win for the Mounties in doubles play. 

In singles, Mount Aloysius got wins from #2 Cole Kazmierczyk (6-1, 6-1), #3 Bruce Perow (6-0, 6-0), #4 Adam Snyder (6-2, 2-6, 10-4), and #5 Adam Tussey (6-2, 6-3) to get the comeback win and hold on to the 5-2 victory. 

The Mounties will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA national championship.
