MEN'S TENNIS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED, FRANCISCAN'S HAFFNER EARNS PLAYER OF THE YEAR HONORS

Franciscan University sophomore Jake Haffner has been named the 2018 AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Year. Haffner completed a perfect 5-0 AMCC season at No. 1 singles, going 11-8 overall. The sophomore also went undefeated with a  5-0 record at the No. 1 doubles position.

Franciscan's Luke Conrad and Penn State Altoona's Parag Dharbhamulla were tabbed Co-Newcomers of the Year. Conrad completed a perfect AMCC season in singles and doubles, including two wins at No. 1 doubles in AMCC action and was 1-0 in No. 3 singles and 3-0 at No. 4 singles. Dharbhamulla went 4-3 overall at No. 2 singles, including a 3-2 mark in the AMCC. He was also 4-3 overall in doubles, including going 3-3 in the No. 1 doubles slot and posting a 3-2 record against AMCC opponents. 

For the second year in a row, Coach of the Year honors goes to Franciscan's Scott Greve. Greve led the Barons to a perfect 5-0 record in conference play and their sixth consecutive conference title.
