MEN'S TENNIS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM RELEASED; APGAR NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Penn State Behrend sophomore Yanique Apgar has been named the 2016 AMCC Men's Tennis Player of the Year. Apgar went undefeated in conference play at No. 1 singles with a 5-0 record and led the Lions to the AMCC conference championship match.

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Penn State Behrend freshman Brent McFarland.  McFarland played three different positions in singles and was undefeated, with his only loss coming in doubles. McFarland finished conference play with a 6-0 singles record and was 4-1 in doubles action. 

Mount Aloysius head coach Mike Hample takes home Coach of the Year honors. Hample led the Mounties to a 7-6 overall and 3-3 AMCC record and their first-ever trip to the AMCC conference tournament.
