ALFRED STATE'S PERRY, COMPTON EARN MEN'S SWIMMING TOP HONORS

Alfred State College junior Westin Perry has been named the AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Year. Perry accumulated the most points on the men's side at the AMCC Swimming and Diving Championships, including mutliple first place finishes on the week. Individually, he earned the gold in the 200 free, the 100 back, and the 100 free. He was also part of the 400 medley relay, the 200 medley relay, the 800 free relay, and the 400 free relay teams which all recorded first place finishes at the championship meet.  

Alfred State freshman Conor Compton earned Diver and Newcomer of the Year honors. Compton was the top diver in the men’s 1m, receiving a high score of 488.95. In the men’s 3m diving, Compton earned a first place medal with a score of 504.95.

Penn State Behrend head coach Jennifer Wallace was named AMCC Coach of the Year after leading the Lions to a second place finish in the AMCC.
