Dan Simon broke the school record in the
200 backstroke to lead Penn State Behrend past Cabrini 151-105 in
non-conference men's swimming and diving action on
Tuesday afternoon.
Simon clocked in at 1:55.64 for first place and almost one second faster than teammate Nick Kost who set the record last year. The senior also won the 50 free in 21.76.
The winning 200 medley relay of Simon, Victor Nguyen, Nick Roth and Ty Elder touched in 1:40.53 to start the meet and set the tone for Behrend.
The Lions return to action on Friday, December 5 at the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational.
