DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona GK Sasha Mohoruk put up five scoreless periods of play for the Lions last week, including posting a pair of AMCC shutouts. In Monday night's home loss to non-conference foe Waynesburg, Sasha got the start and played a spotless first half. He continued his perfect week on the road against Carlow on Wednesday night, when he made four saves to notch the win and shutout. Sasha capped his week with a home shutout victory over Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, when he made three stops to preserve the whitewash. On the week, Sasha went 2-0 with two shutouts and did not surrender a goal in 225:00 time between the pipes. He recorded seven saves for a 1.000 save percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State GK Brayden Fox helped the Pioneers tally two shutouts on the week, notching two saves on the week, one in each match...PS-Behrend GK Sam York registered his fifth shutout of the season, finishing with two saves at Fredonia...Mount Aloysius D Enoch Wiredu made an impact as he has found his footing on defense for the Mounties, as he scored two of the Mounties' 14 goals in Saturday's win against Wells, setting a new program record, while his main contribution though has been towards the Mounties' eighth shutout of the season...Hilbert D Jacob Donner played rock solid defensive in both games last week, as the Hawks recorded conference wins over Pitt-Bradford and La Roche.
