AMCC ANNOUNCES MEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

Mount Aloysius College junior F Juan Camacho and Alfred State College sophomore F Garrett Potts have been tabbed as AMCC Men's Soccer Offensive Co-Players of the Year.

Camacho finished the regular season tied for first in AMCC play with 10 goals, while leading the league in assists (10), and points (30) in conference play. He recorded two game-winning goals, set the program record for points in a game (9) and is currently in the top three in program history for career goals, career assists, and career points

Potts finished the regular season first in the conference with 16 goals overall and tied for first in conference play with 10. He also finished second in the conference with 36 total points. He is currently ranked 13th in the country for goals scored.

Penn State Behrend senior D Justin LeDonne and Alfred State junior M Jack Leahy have been named the Defensive Co-Players of the Year.

LeDonne was a leader on the backline for the Lions this season, starting all 17 games. He helped the team record 10 shutouts, six of which were in conference play. On the backline, he allowed only three goals on 35 shots in AMCC action. Also, LeDonne delivered three scores and an assist, including one game-winner.

Leahy led the Pioneers on defense from the center-back position. His strong play on the defensive end helped Alfred State hold their opponents to a 0.83 goals-against-average. Leahy also finished the regular season tied for fourth in the league in assists.

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Pitt-Greensburg's Matt Armenio. Armenio led the Bobcats with ten goals on the season, including eight in conference play, which was third-best in the league. He led the AMCC in shots with 64, while his two game-winning goals against AMCC teams were fourth-best in the league.

Alfred State College head coach Gabe Kuhn has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Kuhn picks up the honor for the first time in his career, as he led the Pioneers to a 15-3 overall record and a 7-2 mark in conference play. The #3 seed Pioneers made a run through the AMCC championship tournament, upsetting the #2 and #1 seeds along the way, to win the first conference title in program history.
