AMCC Men's Soccer Game of the Week:
Medaille College @ Franciscan University

This week's AMCC men's soccer game of the week features two of the top three teams in conference standings. Medaille College (10-3-2, 6-0-1 AMCC) is in second place while Franciscan University (10-5-1, 6-2 AMCC) in sitting in third. Both teams will be looking to strengthen their records in conference place as we continue to approach the end of the regular season. The Mavericks were triumphant over the Barons 4-2 in their 2015 match-up.

Medaille is 9-0-1 in their last ten games and has outscored their opponents (46-3) during that stretch. Medaille’s balanced offensive attack has six players with double digit point totals on the season and the team has 37 goals in AMCC action, one short of doubling Franciscan (who is in second with 19). Medaille is also tied for the least amount of goals against with three.  A win this weekend for Medaille would clinch a first round bye and would setup for a potential AMCC Regular Season Championship with Penn State Behrend on Tuesday. 

Franciscan enters Saturday's matchup looking to get back to their winning ways. The Barons won their first six conference games, but dropped their last two to bring their conference record to 6-2. Franciscan junior forward, Leo Herrmann, leads the conference with  17 goals and 39 points. Junior goalkeeper Thomas Dosedel is fifth with 22 goals against and a .725 save percentage.
