THREE TABBED AS MEN'S SOCCER NSCAA ALL-REGION

Three AMCC men's soccer players were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III All-Great Lakes Region Team.

Penn St. Behrend senior defender Mike Worthy earned first-team honors while Lion junior forward Anthony Crivelli and Franciscan University sophomore forward Leo Herrmann each earned a spot on the third team.

Worthy was a third-team selection last year and continued to be the backbone of the Lions' defense again this season. He started in all 22 games, to tie the all-time games played record at Behrend (87). Worthy scored one goal and added one assist from his defensive position. He helped the team post 11 shutouts and only allowed 15 goals

Crivelli is making his first appearance on the All-Region team. The three-time All-AMCC selection led the Lions with 30 points this season. Only a junior, Crivelli has asserted himself into the Behrend record books. He currently ranks second in career goals (37), third in career points (88), fourth in single season points (27) and tied for sixth in career assists (14).

The NSCAA All-Region honor is the first of its kind for a Franciscan men's soccer athlete. Herrrmann had an outstanding sophomore campaign as he led the conference in points (42) and goals (17) and was third in the league with eight assists. He set FUS' single season point, goal and assist record in 2015 while his four goals against Thiel to open the year set the school's single-game goal record. As a sophomore, Herrmann is the career points and goals leader at Franciscan. Herrmann was also named the AMCC's 2015 Offensive Player of the Year.
