PITT-GREENSBURG, MT. ALOYSIUS ADVANCE TO SEMIFINALS IN MEN'S SOCCER TOURNAMENT

#3 seed Pitt-Greensburg and #5 seed Mt. Aloysius College are moving on in the AMCC men's soccer tournament.

The third seeded Bobcats dismissed #6 D'Youville College by a 2-0 margin.  Senior forwards Carmene Albano and Brandon Malloy each scored a goal for Pitt-Greenburg. They will travel to Buffalo on Wednesday (game time TBA) to face #2 Medaille College in the semifinals.  UPG dropped a 1-0 decision to the Mavericks on their home field in their opening game of the conference schedule.

Mt. Aloysius defeated the higher seed #4 La Roche College, 4-2, on the Redhawks' home turf. Xavier Cardona, Kevin, Ouellette, Winston Crozier, and Patrick Chea each scored a goal for the Mounties. They will now try to solve the riddle of Penn St. Behrend when they meet the top seeded Lions in Erie at 2pm on Wednesday.  Behrend defeated Mt. The winners will meet in the championship match on Saturday, November 8 at the highest remaining seed.  The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
