PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche SR Dylan Urban homered twice in four games last week to help the Redhawks to 4-0 start to their season. Urban recorded eight hits (five of those for extra bases), three doubles, two home-runs, four runs scored and nine RBIs in two doubleheader sweeps over Hilbert and Medaille. He currently has a .444 batting average and a .944 slugging percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford SS Sam Dreistadt had a big week for the Panthers, hitting .476 over six AMCC games. He went 10-for-21, including a double, a triple, and a home run, scoring four runs and driving in six more, while also adding a stolen base. In the Panther's win over Penn State-Behrend, Dreistadt was a double short of the cycle, going 3-for-4. ..Medaille INF/OF Patrick Whelan continued his strong bat at the plate this past Saturday in a double header with La Roche, tallying four hits in seven at-bats, including three extra-base hits and also scoring one run, ending the weekend hitting .571 with a 1.143 slugging percentage...Alred State SR Brody Burdett was 7-for-20 (.350) with five RBIs in six games, as he went 5-for-6 with six runs scored and three RBI in the Pioneers' double header sweep of UPB...Hilbert INF James DiSanti went 3-for-6 with two home runs, six runs batted in and three runs scored in the Hawks split at Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday to finish the week with a .333 batting average, .500 on base percentage and 1.333 OPS...PS-Behrend INF Josh Wagner registered a pair of hits in three of the four games to help the Lions to a 3-1 week in AMCC play, recording his 100th career hit in game one vs. Altoona on Saturday, as he hit .462 with six hits in 13 at-bats, driving in three runs, scoring two of his own, and smacking two doubles...Mount Aloysius OF Brayden Lackey led the Mounties on offense in both victories at Pitt-Bradford, as he reached base five times on the day, walking three times and registering two hits while also scoring four runs and stealing a base in each game, helping the Mounties to victory...Pitt-Greensburg OF Ben Green's effort in the batter's box helped propel the Pitt-Greensburg baseball team to a split with Hilbert, as he went 4-for-7 at the plate, with three runs, two doubles, and drove in three RBI while posting an .857 slugging percentage and a .700 on-base-percentage.
