PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius OF Brandon Cook had a solid week, slashing .400/.571/1.133 on the way to a 4-1 week for the Mounties. He was even better in conference play, as he went 4-for-6 in the series at Alfred State, reaching base all five plate appearances in Game Two. He tallied four hits and six RBI, while hitting three homeruns. For the week, he drove in eight total runs and scored eight more. Cook now leads the AMCC in homeruns and is second in slugging percentage.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert OF Joey Haynes logged three multi-hit games over four played this past week against Hobart and Pitt-Greensburg, as he slashed a .615 batting average and 1.398 OPS for the week while logging eight hits, including a double, one RBI, three runs scored and stole three bases...PS-Altoona OF Tyreke Greene combined to hit .571 (8-for-14) with six runs scored, five RBI, three stolen bases, two home runs, two walks, and a double, his on-base percentage was .625 and he slugged 1.071 in the Lions' doubleheader splits on the road against Elmira and Wilson on Thursday and Friday...PS-Behrend INF Daniel Boehme tallied a .667 batting average, going 8-for-12 with three runs batted in over three games for Behrend, as he recorded three hits and two RBI in a 9-2 game two win against Franciscan on Saturday, he then finished with a game-high three hits at Allegheny...Pitt-Greensburg OF/P James Domer had another strong week last week with a two-home run, seven-RBI performance over three games this past week, as he scored four runs while batting .545S, including four hits in the Bobcats' doubleheader against Hilbert...Pitt-Bradford UTIL Maxwell Rogers led the Panther comeback that fell short against La Roche over the weekend, as he started erasing the five-run deficit with a solo home run, and then further cut into the lead with a two-run single in the eighth.
