PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche C Joe Professori came up big for the Redhawks in the final week of the regular season to help his team secure the AMCC regular season title and hosting rights for the upcoming postseason tournament. Professori scored at least one run in all but one game, while recording hits in six out of eight games. Professori recorded hits when his team needed them and made them count, as he recorded 11 runs, eight RBI, three home runs and seven walks in a 7-1 week for the Redhawks.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend INF Scott Sada hit .414 in a 4-2 week for the Lions, as he smacked 12 hits, three doubles and a home run, driving in nine runs in and scoring 10 of his own, while going 4-for-4 in stolen bases, while also reaching 250 career hits vs. La Roche on Tuesday...Mount Aloysius C Doug Smith had a big week as the Mountie's regular season came to an end, as he hit .625 on the week while catching all 48 innings the Mounties played and also collecting 15 hits, driving in six runs and scoring five more...Pitt-Greensburg INF Dylan DeRoss went 6-for-9 at the plate in the doubleheader against D'Youville, posting a .667 batting average, with a triple, two RBI, and went a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bases...PS-Altoona OF George Stiuso had a great week at the plate for the Lions, helping his team go 4-1 overall, including 3-1 against AMCC opponents, as he batted .500 (8-for-16) with six RBI, six walks, five runs scored, three doubles, two stolen bases, and one home run, while also finishing the week with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage...Hilbert C/P Austin O'Shei had an outstanding week posting a .467 batting average and .529 on base percentage over the Hawks' four games, as he went 7-for-15 at the plate with a pair of doubles and scored six runs, while driving in another and adding five stolen bases...Pitt-Bradford C Jake McNabb collected three hits in seven at-bats for a .429 average, as he recorded a pair of hits, including a double in game two against La Roche.
