BEHREND BASEBALL EXPECTED TO DEFEND AMCC TITLE IN PRESEASON COACHES POLL
Penn State Behrend is expected to defend their AMCC baseball title in 2025, according to league coaches. The Lions finished the regular season in second place before going on to claim the tournament title a season ago. Mount Aloysius College is expected to finish in second place, with Alfred State College rounding out the top three.

Mount Aloysius senior P/INF Tyler Quade has been named the Preseason Player of the Year, while Alfred State senior Ryan Bailey has tabbed as the Preseason Pitcher of the Year.

Quade returns to the diamond after being named the 2024 AMCC Player of the Year. He is a two-time All-American, while also being named AMCC Player, Pitcher, and Newcomer of the Year in 2022 following his freshman campaign. As a junior, Quade hit .421 while tallying 17 doubles and 19 stolen bases. On the mound, he went 4-2 and recorded a 3.99 ERA with 65 strikeouts.

Bailey was tabbed the 2024 AMCC Pitcher of the Year. He was an AMCC first team all-conference selection in both 2023 and 2024. Bailey pitched six complete games last season with a 4.46 ERA while recording 70 strikeouts.

The AMCC tournament will take place Wednesday, May 7 through Saturday, May 10 at Point Stadium in Johnstown, PA. The winner will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.
