AMCC ANNOUNCES BASEBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

For the second time in his career, Mount Aloysius College junior outfielder Tyler Quade has been named the AMCC Player of the Year. Quade led the AMCC in batting average (.462), on-base percentage (.574), and was second in slugging (.731) in conference play. He scored 16 runs for the Mounties in conference play and recorded 13 RBI. His 24 hits against AMCC teams included six doubles, two home runs, and a triple. In overall stats, he ranked second in the conference with 58 hits, 17 doubles and 20 stolen bases. 

Alfred State junior Ryan Bailey has been tabbed as the AMCC Pitcher of the Year. Bailey finished second in the conference in strikeouts, recording 34 of them in conference games. He threw four complete games on the season and finished with a 2.67 ERA in conference play.

Penn State Behrend freshman infielder David Gibson is the 2024 AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Gibson registered a .344 batting average (22-for-64) in 16 conference games, finishing second on the team with 15 RBI and two home runs to go along with a triple and 14 runs scored. For the season, he ranked first in the AMCC with 42 runs batted in and tied for fifth with four home runs, recording a .371 batting average (49-for-132) to stand third on the team, while notching three doubles, four triples, and 28 runs scored. Gibson tallied 18 multi-hit games and 10 contests with two or more RBIs. Seven of those multi-hit games were in conference games.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Mount Aloysius head coach Kevin Kime. Kime earns the honor for the fourth time in his career, as he led the Mounties to an 11-5 record in conference play and the Mounties' first AMCC regular season title.
