Preview: Men's Basketball at Penn St. Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. - La Roche men's basketball hits the road Wednesday, January 22nd to take on Penn St. Altoona at the Adler Arena. Earlier this season, the Redhawks took down Altoona at the Kerr, 113-84, LRU's highest scoring game so far this season. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.

La Roche (OVR: 10-6, AMCC: 10-1)

Last Time Out: Monday evening, the Redhawks overcame a 13-point halftime deficit, their largest of the season, by outscoring Pitt Bradford 56-30 in the second half to win, 80-67. Darius Lawrence finished with a game-high 19 points while shooting 6 of 12 (50%) from the field and 5 of 6 (83%) from the free-throw line. Tyler Frederick recorded his conference-high 10th double-double of the season, posting 14 points and 13 rebounds. Desmond Ross scored all of his career-high 16 points in the second half. In just 17 minutes of action, Ross shot 5 of 11 (45%) from the field and 4 of 7 (57%) from beyond the arc. After shooting just 1 of 7 from the field in the first half, Austin Hannes scored 15 of his 17 points in the second while shooting 4 of 7 (57%) from the field and a perfect 4 of 4 from the free throw line. The Redhawks were just 9 of 32 (28%) from the field and an abysmal 2 of 16 (13%) from three-point range in the second half. After some much needed offensive halftime adjustments, the Redhawks knocked down 16 of 34 (47%) attempts overall and 9 of 17 (53%) from beyond the arc in the second half.
