WAYNESBURG, Pa. - The La Roche women's soccer team was defeated at Waynesburg University Tuesday evening. The final score of the game was 5-0, making the Redhawks record 1-2 on the season and in non-conference play and the YellowJackets 1-1. Waynesburg scored 3 goals in the first half and then two in the second.

• LRU was outshot by the Yellow Jackets 24-10 (13-5 for shots on goal)
• Five different Waynesburg players scored in the contest and seven notched at least one point
• Senior forward Alondra Gonzalez (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) had 4 shots and 2 shots on goal
• Freshman goalkeeper Bella Costanzo (Carnegie, PA / OLSH) made 6 saves in the first half and then 2 saves in the second and faced a total of 24 shots
