ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball dropped a 65-59 decision to Penn State Altoona in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday afternoon.

* Altoona started the game on an 11-0 run in the first four minutes
* Matt McDonough (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) h hit a triple at 14:55 to get Behrend on the scoreboard
* Behrend continued to chip away and took its first 17-16 with 10 minutes to play in the half
* After a 25-all deadlock at 5:23, the home team scored 11 of the contest's next 19 markers to lead 36-33 at intermission
