DANVILLE, KY – The Penn State Behrend baseball team competed against Centre for the second straight day, falling 2-1 in non-conference action on Sunday.

* Centre erased a one-run deficit with two runs in the seventh and held on for the win
* In the bottom of the seventh, back-to-back doubles scored Aaron Lopez for the game-tying run
* Karson Thompson's sacrifice fly knocked in Josh Cunningham for the game-winning run before recording the final two outs of the inning
* Behrend got on the board first in the fourth
* Zac Bogats (Corapolis, PA/Moon) singled to the left side and advanced to second on a wild pitch
* Mac Ciocco (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) drove Bogats in with a single to center field for a 1-0 lead
* The Lions held off the Colonels in the fifth, forcing them to leave three on off one hit
* Bogats tallied two of the four hits for Behrend
* Ethan Tinker (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) got her first collegiate start, working six innings and allowing one earned run while striking out two
* Ryan Meneskie (Moon Township, PA/Moon) tallied his second double of the season
