The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball for the period running from December 18, 2023 - January 1, 2024.

Men's Basketball: Mount Aloysius F De'Von Haggans averaged 22.5 points per game on 60% shooting this week, adding 10.5 rebounds and two steals per game. Haggans led the Mounties to a 1-1 record in the Dr. Carol V. Decosta/Go 4 the Goal Tournament, and was named to the All-Tournament team for the Mounties.

Women's Basketball: Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack averaged 19.5 points on 85.7% (18-for-21) shooting across two games for the Mounties, adding 11 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.  Kosmack went 9-for-11 (81.8%) from the field for 18 points against Oberlin before connecting on 9-of-10 from the field for 21 points against Carnegie Mellon. She added 13 rebounds against Carnegie Mellon to earn the double-double. Kosmack led her team in both points and rebounds for both games in the Jim Meagle Holiday Classic, and was named to the All-Tournament team for Mount Aloysius.
