LEDWIN APPOINTED TO NCAA BOWLING NATIONAL COMMITTEE

AMCC Commissioner Donna Ledwin has been named to represent Division III on the NCAA national bowling committee.

Women's bowling is a national collegiate championship which is comprised of members from all three divisions.  The AMCC has been a leader in growing the sport of bowling in Division III, and was the first Division III conference to earn an automatic bid to the national tournament.

"I am honored to serve on the national committee as this is a sport that has special meaning to me and to the AMCC," said Ledwin.  "I will be sure the division is represented well."

Ledwin has served on numerous NCAA committees in her four decade career in intercollegiate athletics.  The list of Division III committees includes Interpretations and Legislation; Membership; Nominating, and Women's Lacrosse.  Her association-wide service includes the Sportsmanship & Ethical Conduct Committee; the Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee; and the Committee on Women's Athletics.  Currently Ledwin serves as chair of the Division III LGBTQ+ Working Group and chair of the Division Committee on Infractions.
