The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's basketball for the period running from November 21-27, 2022.

Men's Basketball: Hilbert G Quran Briggs led the Hawks this week averaging, 27.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The sophomore guard scored a career high 33 points, while shooting 13-for-19 from the field during the middle of week in two point overtime loss against Elmira College and followed it up with a 22 point and nine rebound effort past weekend in another two point loss against Franciscan University. Briggs also added six assists, three steals, and one block on the week.

Women's Basketball: PS-Behrend G Madilyn Boyer shot 50 percent from the floor, scoring a season-best 22 points, while grabbing nine rebounds and adding four assists in the win over Fredonia. She went 8-for-16 for a 50% field goal percentage, including 6-for-10 from behind the arc.
