AMCC 25TH ANNIVERSARY THEN & NOW SERIES: TIM JORDAN, HILBERT COLLEGE

Tim Jordan returned to Hilbert College in 2019 as an assistant men’s soccer coach with the goal of guiding and developing the Hawks both on the pitch and in life.  Jordan was a four-year member of the Hilbert men’s soccer program from 2003 through 2006 and was awarded a degree in Economic Crime Investigation in the May 2007.

The Hamburg, NY native appeared in 64 games, collected 45 points off 16 goals and 13 assists. Jordan, the 2006 team MVP, posted four game-winning goals and beat the opposing team’s goalkeeper twice from the PK line.

He served as a leader on the team and in the athletics department after the college transitioned into the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference in 2004.  Jordan served as the Vice President of the Hilbert College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and joined other AMCC SAAC members who attended an NCAA Regional Leadership Conference in Indianapolis in 2006.

He was given the Athletic Department’s McGrath Award, having achieved the highest cumulative grade point average for the men’s sports programs and was a three-time AMCC Academic All-Conference member as well as a 2006 Chi Alpha Sigma inductee.

Having been stationed in Arizona prior to his return to Western New York, Jordan attempts to balance his employment with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with his part-time assistant coaching position at Hilbert. Jordan enjoys his role within the program, as he believes he challenges the players to be the best version of themselves while serving as a resource for professional development and life after graduation.
