PRESUTTI NAMED DIRECTOR OF SPORTS INFORMATION AT MEDAILLE COLLEGE

Medaille College Director of Athletics Susan Roarke announced the hiring of Alyssa Presutti as the Sports Information Director on Friday.  Roarke stated that "Alyssa has lead the continued growth of the sports information department at her current institution during her tenure with creative ideas.  Her energy and enthusiasm for promoting the accomplishments of student-athletes made her stand out during our search process."

"I'm looking forward to meeting my new team at Medaille and taking this next step in my career," said Presutti. She joins the department following a four-year stint as the Sports Information Director at Finger Lakes Community College. There, she handled all game day operations while also managing all day-to-day operations of athletic communications. "When I heard about the job I knew it would be a great fit," said Presutti. "I'm also from the Buffalo area and had always wanted to make my way back home."

Prior to her tenure at FLCC, she had been an author for Sports Union Magazine where she was responsible for writing one feature story per issue while also writing game recaps for local sports teams in the Hamburg area.

She got her start in sports communication during her senior year of college where she interned within the SUNY Geneseo athletic department as a video intern. Presutti was responsible for creating and editing video and still photography for distribution. She was also involved in creating athlete of the week interviews and shot live game footage to be broadcasted on BoxCast.

Presutti received her Bachelor's in Communication/Media Journalism from SUNY Geneseo in 2017 where she was a four-year member of the softball team.
