AMCC 25TH ANNIVERSARY DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI SERIES: DOMITY DAHN, MT. ALOYSIUS COLLEGE

Domity Dahn was a member of the men’s soccer team at Mount Aloysius College from 2016-19, which included four consecutive years with a winning record. He graduated in 2020 with a degree in Information Technology, concentrating in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics.

On the pitch, Dahn played in 46 career games for the Mounties, while scoring two goals and registering one assist. He started his career as a forward, but eventually transitioned to defense for his final two years.

“What actually brought me to Mount Aloysius was soccer,” said Dahn. “But while visiting the campus I was really attracted to the beauty of the campus, as were my parents. When I was looking for school I was focused on schools that would give me a more personalized experience with my professors and the Mount did just that. The whole community was just welcoming and I enjoyed every minute of it.”

Following graduation, Dahn took a job with Sure Secure Solutions, a company that he interned with during his junior year. He currently represents the company as a contractor for NASA, working as a System Engineer. Dahn is currently supporting the Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) team, but has worked with NASA on multiple past projects.

“Playing soccer at the Mount under the coaching staff of Laurence and Matt was a wonderful experience. Playing for such great coaches and teammates from all across the world really made my time at the Mount special.” Dahn still makes the occasional appearance at Mountie Soccer games when he gets time away from his job to cheer on his alma mater.

The Distinguished Alumni Series is part of the AMCC's 25th anniversary where the conference will be recognizing former AMCC student-athletes who have excelled in their area of study. The Distinguished Alumni Series will run every Thursday throughout the academic year.
