AMCC PROUD TO UNVEIL NEW LIVE STREAMING NETWORK

The Allegheny Mountain Collegaite Conference (AMCC), through its strategic partnership with BoxCast, has launched AMCC TV, which will host hundreds of streamed broadcasts during the 2019-20 athletic seasons and beyond.

"We are very excited to offer this one-stop viewing option for our fans across Western New York, Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio," said AMCC Commissioner Donna Ledwin.  "It gives our parents, alums, faculty, staff and students the chance to follow their favorite team no matter where they are competing."

The AMCC and BoxCast have signed a three-year deal which allows the league to showcase all conference institutions as they compete live on the web and on all mobile devices, with the ability to watch on Apple TV and Roku coming in 2020. The mobile app for iPhone and Android devices will be available in late October 2019.

With the deal, AMCC institutions will also have the ability to live stream other events on campus, such as commencement, award ceremonies and guest speaker presentations.

"We are really excited about empowering the AMCC to reach their fans in new ways," says BoxCast's CEO Gordon Daily. "Many of the schools in the AMCC have been with BoxCast for years and have grown to love our reliable product and friendly customer support.  We're grateful for the opportunity to grow viewership for the schools that already know how easy live streaming with BoxCast can be, regardless of technical expertise."

Fans can view a league-wide schedule of both live and upcoming broadcasts and view past video on-demand while filtering broadcasts by school.
